Hello! Thanks for checking out my website! My name is Sherah and I am the mother of 4 adult children, a wife, an aunt, sister, friend, daughter, and writer. But above all, I am a daughter of God Most High, El Elyon! My life has been a series of ups and downs, wrong turns, and second chances. A former single parent, I have experienced my fair share of shame, but I have also received the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. This site is a platform to share my redemption story, godly encouragement, and the stories of others; place to not feel alone, but to build one another up.

My love for writing started when I was a young child with stories about a rabbit (how I wish I still had these stories). At the age of 12, I picked up on poetry and in high school my most memorable class was creative writing. Over the years I have picked my writing back up only to get distracted by life and put it back down for a while, but I always come back to it and have never lost my love for it.

What I have come to realize is that whether I am posting daily, weekly, monthly, or just occasionally, God gave me a voice to share with others. In 1 Peter 4:10-11 we read, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:  whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen,” (ESV). Through sharing my written words, my hope is to bring glory to God.
